Johor Strait's ships today

First I saw the submarine coming in to the docks. Then a blue ship arrived and at the same time a red ship from the right was leaving. They managed to pass each other safely. I do not often see 2 big ships passing each other. Towards the evening the gastanker which arrived a couple of days ago, was taken out into the strait to be turned around and docked again.

Compressed Tea

So what does compressed tea look like?
I bought some. Purple Cane has a special on this tea and I think it would do nicely as gifts when I go visit in S.A. There are 10 compressed teas in a box, all nicely packaged.

The tea I bought is Pu Er Tea, 5 Green Pu Er and 5 Ripe Pu Er in a box. To drink it, you just break of a tiny piece and put into your teapot. I guess with time, you'll get to know how much you want to add to your size teapot. The Green one has green writing on its wrapper and is lighter in colour. The Ripe one is in the wrapper with red writing and is darker.

Tea in Permas Jaya

Jusco Permas Jaya has this quaint little tea shop, Purple Cane. They sell teas in the most beautiful packaging. It is such a pleasure shopping there as they treat you like a guest and gives you a teeny weeny cup of fresh, hot tea to taste before you shop. They sell Green Tea, Oolong Tea, Black Tea, Pu Er Tea, Flower Scented Tea and Compressed Tea. Coming from S.A. this Compressed Tea is totally new to me. I'm used to buying ordinary old black tea, Rooibos tea or some green tea. If we did some searching we will find the Oolong in the Indian Spice shop. Pu Er Tea and Compressed Tea is for me to learn about. The packaging of Purple Cane's teas are so cute that I could easily buy the tea just for the packaging! It is a good place to find gifts as they have a range of prices to suit your pocket. Their plastic beg is also to pretty to just throw away!

Living in Malaysia

One of the best places to live in is probably Malaysia. You never feel cold! The people are friendly and you can probably get anywhere you want without having a car. Generally prices of food and clothes and whatever essentials are similar to what I am used to in S.A.
